Trond Folstad

Trond studied classical guitar and pedagogical subjects at Oslo conservatory of music. He later specialized in flamenco guitar, through various trips to Spain, where he learned from masters such as Paco, Peña, and Niño Josele among others. He is founder of the Oslo-based flamenco-band Candela, and a part of Duo Córdoba.

Furthermore, he is also an experienced electric guitarist, having played in several rock and pop groups, and often in other settings in a variety of genres. He is currently working as a guitar and music teacher in music schools as well as primary school, besides playing with Candela, Duo Córdoba or solo.
